The best software installed on an old, junk computer, won’t work. We are the operating system. The “software” is what goes on the Operating System. Ex: we need to install “Marriage” software, a “Mortgage” software, etc.. We need to rewire our operating system and rewire it.

Your life is a result of your choices you’ve made up to this moment.
It’s the little things that will bite you. Nobody has been bitten by an elephant. It’s the mosquitoes that’s the biggest threat to humanity.
Success is small, seemingly insignificant, moment-to-moment choices.
Do you want a penny that doubles everyday for month? Day 31 it’s 10,737,418. Einstein said compound interest is the 8th wonder of the world.
4 Traps:
Results are invisible. It takes time and patience. It won’t happen overnight. Don’t drift: 1% off can make a huge difference (think plane that is off 1%).
Most times, you get “rewarded” for your poor choices. Eating cake feels good. Immediate gratification is the devil’s work.
What gives you short-term pleasure gives you long-term pain.

The good news is that you get to choose your pain.
The pain of discipline weighs ounces. The pain of regret weighs tons.
These are simple to do. But they’re easy to neglect and not do.

Habits are harder to break.
It takes 300 repetitions to change a bad habit.
It’s not “will power” that matters; it’s the “why power”.

- Decide Big 3 Goals – what are the 3 things that make this year the best year ever. Make the list and truly get the 3 goals. Stop chasing all the shiny objects.
- What are the 1 or 2 key behaviors that make each goal.
- Track the activities.
You will get off track, what matters is how fast you get back on track.
It’s not how fast you start; it’s how long you go. Consistency. I will beat you by outlasting you. Human failure is because of drifting.
