Discover the Truth Behind Call Reluctance

Why am I not making my calls?

  1. Scared – maybe
    • Fear of rejection – I think this is overplayed.
    • Fear of it working – if we got more business it would get us out of our comfort zone? Do we really want to work harder? What if we have to hire more? What if we fail with more business? Some of us would rather not play the game, instead of playing with a chance of losing.
  2. Don’t want to.
    1. The ROI isn’t enough
    1. Bored with it – tiered
    1. Ego – I’m too good for it
    1. ROI – should I be doing something that produces an ROI
    1. Acceptable distractions / Procrastination – fool myself that there’s something better.
    1. Acceptable doing 50% less and making 20% less. But that’s futile.
  3. Time – it’s not a problem with time management. For example, have you ever chosen not picked up your kid. Of course, even if you were late, you made the time to make it happen. Or not shown up on time for a flight? Of course not. Our time management is perfectly fine when we make it a priority.
    1. Run out of time – have good intensions, but lousy of making it happen.
      1. Why not make the calls first? Bad prioritizing.
    1. Not efficient – only make a few calls. Need to time block and have list to  work from and Phone Burner.
