Onboarding Training Calendar

Frist day should be a party to welcome them. Have flowers, a book, gift, etc.

Give them a buddy so they know who to call. Make the buddy go to lunch with them so they’re not eating alone.

o  Welcome box – book (Atomic Habits or something for team, copy of the MIT in playbook, roster of team, handwritten card from MP, etc.)

o  First week of new role is all shadowing someone who does it.

o  Master a task before moving on.

o  Clear is kind. People want guidelines and rules – they just need to know them.

o  End of day email (sent to whole branch) – every day for first 90 days
